Jazz says welcome to our home...

Why  a  Poodle?  Because they are one of the most interesting, versatile, breeds around.   Under  the frou-frou  hair cut seen in most of the worlds show rings is a muscular, athletic, intelligent dog who loves being with people.

If there a job you want done look around you may find that a poodle has done it or is doing it now.  They have run the Iditarod and worked as war dogs. Some currently work as Search and Rescue dogs. The poodle is one of the top 3 choices for service dogs of all kinds and excel as hearing ear dogs and medical alert dogs.  Many are working as guide dogs for the blind.

Want a bird dog? Look no further. There are many who love hunting and do very well at it.

Need a handy dog to help around the place? Maybe do a bit of herding or vermin control?  Some poodles have strong herding instincts and many have high prey drive when it comes to small furry things.

Want a hiking companion to keep you company on the trails?  A Standard would love this.

Want a dog to compete in Rally, Agility, Barn Hunt, etc?  Poodles do well, even the Toys.  I know of at least one Grand Champion Toy with a MACH!

Want a wonderful playful intelligent family pet?   They are hard to beat.  Young Standards can be a bit bouncy and rambunctious for smaller children but they do very well with older children and I know many with fond memories of the family Mini they grew up with.   Toys are generally not recommended for families with younger children due to their size but they are wonderful companions for adults or older children who can be careful around them.
